In our global economy, companies of all sizes face stiff competition in international markets.

This program prepares future professionals in the fields of international business development, the import and export industry and other fields of international management.

The International Management Program provides highly academic students with hands-on experience to acquire knowledge and develop the skills necessary to navigate the international business landscape.

Students will benefit from comprehensive global business management training including courses in international management, geopolitics and international relations, finance, global marketing, business strategy, and international trade.

Using an empirical approach that includes theory and professional practice, students will learn how to investigate, analyze, and manage their business activities in Europe and abroad.

During the MSc 1 program, students will have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a real-life business case study, in cooperation with an international company from the Lyon area.

The school offers a professional immersion with internships or training contracts at the end of the MSc 1 program.

B TO C MARKETING

This course aims to illustrate the existing links between economics and marketing (Maslow/Schwartz/Rokeach/Murray).
The following fundamental concepts in BtoC Marketing will be presented: Purchasing patterns; The role of key players; Segmentation; Analysing the supply; Studying the demand; Cultural behavior patterns; Company response and strategy.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS LAW

This course aims to introduce legal issues which arise in negotiating, concluding and executing contracts in an international context.
Such knowledge will help future global executives to anticipate complex transactions abroad.
Such transactions may involve contracting parties from several countries and the execution of contractual obligations in several nations.

INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING AND SUPPLY CHAIN LOGISTICS

This course teaches the fundamentals of the procurement processes used by international corporations.
Classes will combine theory and practical applications to illustrate the following key processes and actions: Purchasing Objectives, Procurement Process, Invitation to Tender, Vendor Selection and Management, Contract Negotiation, Supply Chain Management, Service Level Agreements, Quality Assurance, Legal and Contractual Obligations.

GLOBAL GEOPOLITICAL AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

This seminar explores the role of international business and politics and their impact on global current events. From China to the Middle East, and from the United States to Europe, this course embraces such key factors as oil, terrorism, religion, demographics and ecology.
