On July 5, MBA students in Luxury Brand Management Food & Wine took a three-day wine tour in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards to discover the wine heritage of the region. They started with a guided tour of Chateau Soutard and Chateau Villemarine, two distinguished domains in Saint-Emilion. During these tours, students particularly appreciated the specificities of a great Saint-Emilion over their meeting with producers and tastings offered by the two chateaux.
The next day, the students were greeted by the owner of Chateau La Croix for a tour of the vineyards, before going into the city center of Bordeaux for a greedy lunch, to discover the regional food specialties.
The last day of the Wine Tour was spent visiting the Chateau de Sales, a mansion house steeped in history located in Pomerol. A memorable experience for students who had the privilege of tasting the two greatest classified growths of the domain, before going to Chateau Latour, where a dinner had been prepared specially to their attention.
