Within the scope of the partnership between INSEEC MSc & MBA and Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in Jordan, Dr. Omar Al-Hujran from the Department of Management Information Systems at PSUT King Talal School for Business and Technology, and Dr. Mutaz M. Al-Debei, from the University of Jordan, visited INSEEC Campus in Paris on 23 March 2015.
The two professors were welcomed by Dr. Amir Dhia, Dean of Studies at INSEEC MSc & MBA who briefed them on the organization of studies, the various departments of INSEEC, as well as on student performance and career experiences. A number of joint projects between the three Universities were also discussed.
The Cooperation Agreement between INSEEC and PSUT was signed in Amman on 9 June 2014, with the aim, among others, to initiate joint MBA programs. Dr. Dhia formalized the agreement with Dr. Abdul Ghafoor I. Ahmed Al-Saidi, Dean of the King Talal Faculty for Business and Technology, and Dr. Issa E. Batarseh, President of PSUT.
After the visit, Dr. Omar Al-Hujran emphasized that “The quality and the relevance of INSEEC curriculum in terms of teaching and of research as well as in the field of business are a great opportunity for our Jordanian students. INSEEC enjoys strong links between school and work environment: the dual approach of bridging the school with companies guarantees a better entrance into employment market thanks to work experience through vocational training and long-term internships.”
Dr. Mutaz M. Al-Debei stressed that “Above and beyond the richness of INSEEC Programs and research activities, primacy is given to practical knowledge and skills which is a true added-value for companies, contributing to the role of shaping the personality and success of students. We look forward to enhancing our cooperation with INSEEC.”
