On October 18th, students of the Master in Marketing, Communication and Sales Strategies (specialized in Negotiation and Key Accounts Sales Management) welcomed Nicolas Baliff, Human Resources Director of Nestlé France, for a conference on sales functions and career in the food industry.During this meeting Nicolas Baliff presented Nestlé Group, the world leader in nutrition, health and wellness and Nestlé France that employs 16,000 people and manages prestigious brands.
He then detailed the marketing and sales functions offered by Nestlé, stating that each employee must complete at least one year as a Sector Manager in order to fully understand the world of supermarkets and hypermarkets. After this operational experience, some joined the Marketing Department to work as Product Manager, Marketing Research Officer, Head of Group Brand Manager, etc. Those who continue in the Sales Department can have a career as Regional Sales Manager, Brand Marketing Manager functions or National Distribution Manager.
To end his speech, Nicolas Baliff advised students to put a lot of energy into completing the missions of their future job. The Human Resources Director of Nestlé also provided valuable advice to succeed in a job interview with Nestlé.
