The last two months, the MSc Fashion Marketing, Design and Brand Strategies students attended several conferences dedicated to fashion and luxury ready-to-wear industries.
In January, they met Anna TAVANI, Set Designer & Prop Stylist for Harper’s Bazaar or Vanity Fair magazines, who spoke about fashion styling. She explained the backstage of a photo shoot, as well as the role of a stylist in the choice of setting and models.
Also, Chloe MERYL BERREBI, Trade Marketing Manager at Christian DIOR Couture presented the Dior eyewear licenses, and gave students precious advise to succeed in the fashion and luxury industries.
Gary PINAGOT, Web Coordinator, and his Assistant, Sybil LAYOUS, described the digital communication of the luxurious brand Maison Martin MARGIELA, based on a neutral communication without icons. The two guest speakers ended their conference by sharing good practices on how to be unique and make the difference on the web.
In February, the students met Laureano Mon and Sebastián Rodríguez, from INTI’s Trend Observatory of Buenos Aires, who presented “INTI design Map, 101 Signature fashion designers”, a book they worked on during 6 years. They explained to students the specificities of the different areas in Argentina in terms of creation, traditional savoir-faire and modern production through the works of 101 fashion designers in the country.[cycloneslider id= »confs-mode_inseec-paris »]
